Fees
Two-Week Session - 5,580 GBP
Additional Two-Week Session - 5,190 GBP
Our standard fee package includes:
- Application fee: A 500 GBP non-refundable application fee
- Tuition: for the duration of your programme, including all course teaching, evening lectures and assessments
- Activities: Transport to weekend excursions and various activities in Oxford city
- Accommodation: Pricing is based on single ensuite rooms. Dependent on availability, discounts can be provided for single standard and twin shared room options.
- Food: Breakfast, lunch and dinner on weekdays. Breakfast only on weekends. Welcome reception and Farewell Formal Hall meal.
Discounts
We are pleased to offer a range of discounts to make the Summer Institute more accessible to our students.
Early Bird Discount (100 GBP) is available for those who complete their applications and payments earlier than 1 Mar 2025.
Students applying from non-partner universities are eligible for one of the following discounts:
- Word of Mouth Discount (200 GBP) is available for those who are recommended by previous participants of the Summer Institute.
- Group Discount (200 GBP) is available for students enrolling in groups of three or more, making it an excellent choice for friends or classmates to join together.

All students from our partner universities are eligible for a Partnership Scholarship (300 GBP), reflecting our commitment to strengthen these valued academic collaborations. Our Early Bird discount also applies for these students.

Language requirements
To ensure participants can fully engage with the academic and cultural experience, the Summer Institute requires a strong level of English language proficiency. Applicants should demonstrate their proficiency with a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 or a TOEFL score of 90, or equivalent.
These standards ensure that students can actively participate in lectures, discussions and workshops, while also fully enjoying the immersive environment of studying at Oriel College, University of Oxford. If you meet these language requirements, you will be well-prepared to thrive in this intellectually stimulating programme.
